auditions for the one acts

i have discovered that i am much more excited about directing than i ever was about acting (i totally want to do this again)!  watching auditions last night was great, and got me really pumped (i was still on a high after i got home).  i'm really psyched for tonight's auditions, too (and thursday's!)  yay for directing!!!

Sweeeet. So does this mean that if I ever feel like acting I can get favoritism for sleeping with the director?

Glad it was fun. Auditions are always sort of terrifying for me in advance--I'm much more nervous about them than about opening night--but it is very exciting to see so much potential and start to really engage in the process with other people.

I'm just as pumped after auditions myself! I think it confirmed for me that I really did want to act and not direct. Funny how life works!

All in all, I had a blast, and the directors this year seem like a lot of fun!
